Hermès was hosting the opening of their new store in the Stanford Shopping Center. The event needed to welcome a new Hermès community by putting on a breath-taking show for 500 guests in a 6,724 sq foot tent showing commitment to craft in a tech-minded bay area.
Chairigami created a grand entrance, elevating cardboard to the status of simple, raw luxury. We built a French bistro complete with cafe tables and cardboard stools surrounding a cardboard fountain. Hermès made headlines in several top fashion blogs and local bay area news sites, setting the stage for record-breaking opening week sales at their new location.
